The Continuance of Eastertide
As time moves further away from Easter Sunday, many of us have lost the opportunity generated by the Church for us to reflect on the hope and promise of Eternal Life. While it is understandable that we all have many things going on in our daily lives, the nuts and bolts eventually
lead us to the mystery of life and death. This season of Easter is precisely meant to help all who believe in the Lord Jesus to grasp more earnestly the hope offered by the Lord to all who follow Him. We have also been reminded in the light of Divine Mercy Sunday of the enormous love that God has for each and everyone of us. To willingly miss the opportunity to re-appraise our journey through this life is a tragedy unfolding before our eyes by many we call our loved ones. We are the ones who are called by our faith response to be a light to them by the grace of God’s forgiveness received and offered to all who seek Him with a sincere heart.
