Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Please pray for the following parishioners and/or friends who are currently serving overseas:

  • S/SGT. John M. DeGrasse, USMC, serving in Iraq
  • 2nd Lt. Albert Elam, III, serving in Iraq
  • Patrick O'Bryant, US Army, serving in Iraq
  • PFC Kori Arsenault, Natl. Guard, serving in Iraq
  • LCPL Aaron Norris, USMC, serving in Iraq
  • S/SGT Kurt Gartung, serving in Iraq

The Banns of Marriage are announced for the first time for Brian Morgan Boteler, Jr. and Leslie Ann Eckard of St. Mary’s Church.

As the month of July continues to pass, the flow of parishioners in and out of the area is visible. Confronting the heat of the summer makes some resort to the pool, others the beach, still others the golf course either early or late in the day, etc. Yet, the Lord is constantly calling us to a cool, gentle, and loving presence. Hopefully, He is part of the varied summer gatherings and activities. In the midst of the heat and humidity all our lives continue. The Lord is central to each of our days and always walking the journey with each of us. Are you conscious of His presence? Are we disposed to creating a time to listen to Him? Are we making any vacation plans with Him?

For a schedule of Masses while on vacation please go to the link of Mass Times or call 1-410-676-6000

Prayer for John Paul II’s Intercession

This prayer is being disseminated by the postulator of the cause of John Paul’s beatification. In the last phase of the process of beatification, proof will be required of a miracle attributed to this intercession. The process of beatification begins on June 28th.

O Blessed Trinity,
We thank you for having graced the Church with Pope John Paul II and for allowing the tenderness of your Fatherly care, the glory of the cross of Christ, and the splendor of the Holy Spirit, to shine through him. Trusting fully in Your infinite mercy and in the maternal intercession of Mary, he has given us a living image of Jesus the Good Shepherd, and has shown us that holiness is the necessary measure of ordinary Christian life and is the way of achieving eternal communion with you. Grant us, by his intercession, and according to Your will, the graces we implore, hoping that he will soon be numbered among your saints. Amen.
