The Summer Heat

We have been experiencing a hot and sultry summer. With all the health warnings, we are also made aware of other warnings. Bearing the heat of any given day requires being well prepared and well irrigated. In our Faith, the nourishment and irrigation come from the Lord Himself, thus, the importance for the faithful reception of the Sacraments. As summer continues to pass (quickly) many are still traveling, gathering with friends and family locally, going to places of employment, etc… I would encourage you to remember those who are unable to engage in the aforementioned. There are lonely and forgotten individuals—though we believe in our Faith that the Lord cares and watches them—solidarity of prayer can make the solitude a little easier. Please remember to be careful while you travel. May you arrive safely at your destination.
