Donations Are Needed for St. Mary’s Annual Christmas Bazaar. We are going to have several theme baskets under the table in the gathering place of the main church to collect items for the Bazaar. The themes for the baskets are Oktoberfest, Thanksgiving, Christmas Ornaments, I Love You, Feel Better and Automobile Fuel (this is a good one with today’s gas prices). Please help by donating a few items for these baskets. Thank you!
Attention All Crafters! We need your wonderful homemade crafts (no store bought items, please) for St. Mary’s Craft Table. Any finished craft items can be brought to the parish office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. till 4:30 p.m. Thank you!

St. Mary’s Sodality would like to invite you to attend a day trip to Strasburg, PA to see “Psalms of David” a Sight and Sound Theatre on
Saturday, October 8th. The cost is $75 for adults (13 and over) and $65 for children under 13. Cost includes a show and lunch at Millers Smorgasbord. If paying by check, please make it payable to St. Mary’s Church. Is your child happy at his or her school? We have a few openings left at St. Mary’s School; however, we are being selective in our selections. Life in the Spirit: St. Mary’s Catholic Charismatic Renewal (CCR) prayer group meets weekly on

To Parents of Second Graders: – Preparation will soon begin for your children to receive the Sacraments of Penance (Confession) and Eucharist (Communion) for the first time. So that you can get the important dates on your calendar, we wanted to provide them to you well ahead of time.
It is of the utmost importance that parents attend the meetings indicated below.

Saturday, Feb. 4th Children receive the Sacrament of Penance for the first time (10:00 a.m. Penance Service in the Church, followed by Confessions)

Saturday, May 6th Retreat and Rehearsal for First Communion Students and Parents (8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. beginning in the Parish Hall)
Sunday, May 7th Children receive the Sacrament of the Eucharist for the first time (2:00 p.m. Mass in the Church)
Your child’s 2nd grade teacher and the Director of Religious Education will be sending you helpful materials to assist you at home in preparing your child for these important steps in his or her walk with God.
