St. Mary’s Annual Concert Series
Each year, St. Mary’s hosts various choral and instrumental concerts that feature nationally renowned performers. Last fall, the United States Navy Band Quartet presented an hour concert consisting of a variety of music that included arrangements of classical as well as popular musical selections. The 2005-2006 season will feature the St. Mary’s Traditional Choir in a performance of Maurice Durufle’s glorious Requiem, a 20th Century French choral masterpiece that features the plainchant associated with the traditional requiem of the church. Also appearing on the program will be a performance featuring the chamber music of Beethoven.
